The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life and have it to the full. John 10:10
Over the years the Lord has shown me many things and most of my insights come from moments of intimate conversation with Him. One such understanding came from a question I asked Him, “Lord what is the most important thing you are doing right now?” His answer surprised me because He said, “The Main thing is the Main thing.” Time passed and one day as I was listening to Rick Joyner talk about “The Main Thing”, it all came back to me. Rick very clearly explained that from the beginning God had a plan and a vision for Creation and even Adam’s sin did not stop God from fulfilling His vision. Therefore, God is now and will continue to Restore all things back to His original Plan. Restoration is God’s Main focus. He is healing His people spiritually through a Rebirth process, restoring us back to the Purity of Jesus Bloodline, healing us from heart wounds so that we can function and live out our Destiny free from the distortions our broken hearts influence, and healing our Bodies so that we are free to run our race with Him and for Him. All of this wraps up the answer to my original question,” Lord, what is the most important thing you are doing right now?”
In 1 John 3:8 the bible tells us, “The one who practices sin [separating himself from God, and offending Him by acts of disobedience, indifference, or rebellion] is of the devil [and takes his inner character and moral values from him, not God], for the devil has sinned and violated God’s law from the beginning. The Son of God appears for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil.” Amplified Bible
Over the past 45 plus years of ministry I have recognized fluctuations in the body of Christ’s comfort with the subject of satan’s kingdom and the demonic realm under his command. There have been seasons when the Church soared in a joy filled exuberance over supernatural encounters. For example, during the charismatic teachings linked to the Healing Revival that occurred from 1946 to 1958. During that period men like William Branham, Oral Roberts, and A. A. Allen held large interdenominational meetings which emphasized the gifts of the Spirit. That Revival points the way to the Church of today for it was a seed and a blueprint. We must see the pattern of shadow and type the men and women of that time gave to us in the same way that the first church did. Peter, Paul, and John displayed something humanity had not seen before, The Holy Spirit dwelt within the heart of believers in Jesus Christ, and they were empowered in the following way: Mark 16: 17- 18, “And these signs will follow those who believe. In my name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick and they will recover.” In today’s church it is unusual to find a body of believers living with the same singleness of heart and mind, displaying the passion and Glory of these forerunners. Today we are living in a cultural darkness, and we are desperate to hear the Choir of Christian voices crying out; Holy Spirit Come, Show us your Healing Power. Make us your GLORY CARRIERS.
I have chosen to begin my conversation with you in this manner because I truly believe we find ourselves in the beginning of a new era which I will refer to as the Kingdom era. When God moves us from one era to another humanity gradually recognizes the shifts in the way people think and the resultant shifts in cultural values. This inevitably produces divisions as Leaders of the former move of God resist the Pioneers of the next move. By now I am sure you recognize that we are in the throes of a major transition. Hebrews 12:22-29 allows us to see through Our Heavenly Fathers eyes as He reveals His heart attitude in telling us of Shakings and even great shakings. We can observe through the eye of history the end of an Era and the upheaval which led to a major cultural shift. In this present day, Our Creator and Lord is drawing the people and the nations of the world closer to His heart as He renders a verdict in favor of the Saints. (Daniel 7:22, Matthew 25:31-46) (Psalm 46:6-7 “Nations rage, kingdoms topple; the earth melts when He lifts His voice. Vs 7 The LORD of Armies is with us; the God of Jacob is Our stronghold.” When the dust settles, and we are restored, we will gradually see and experience the Peace of the Lord. This Peace is essential if the People of God - the Ekklesia - are to unite, repent, and embrace one another in the Love of God which always Heals and Restores.
Isaiah 53:4-5, Matthew 8:17, and 1 Peter 2:24 tell us that Jesus, on the Cross, bore our sicknesses and carried our pains, in order to remove them from us and “by His stripes we have been healed”. We know that Jesus has purchased full healing for each individual as much as He has provided forgiveness for every sin.
Expecting a new Pentecost that will catapult us into the 7-fold anointing Jesus carried as He walked the earth.
God has told us to build for Him a bridal army.
Note: Matthew 10:8 (NIV) Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.
